The short answer is this: the Pixel 10a is a good mid-range Pixel for buyers coming from an older phone, but it is not a must-upgrade if you already own a Pixel 9a. Google kept the price at the familiar $499 starting point in the US, kept Tensor G4 instead of moving to Tensor G5, and leaned on durability, battery life, camera software, AI tools, and seven years of updates to make the phone feel current.
